Yi Yueneng

Yi Yueneng

Postdoctoral fellow. Doctoral supervisor. Deputy chief pharmacist. Founder of Hunan Energy Life Medicine Co., Ltd and MedGence Technical Co., Ltd. Ph. D of Xiangya School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Central South University. Postdoctoral fellow of Fudan University. Since 2007, she has been focusing on the research of classic Chinese traditional medicine and technological innovation, and have obtained 14 pharmaceutical invention patents. She has presided over a sub-project of the National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program) and a project from the “Significant New Drugs Development” of Ministry of Science and Technology during the twelfth Five-year Plan Period, and obtained 16 drug registration approvals by presiding over the work. She founded Hunan Energy Life Medicine Co., Ltd. in 2009 and the company is recognized as a National High-tech Enterprise.

Luo Jieying

Professor of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine. Doctoral supervisor. Member of the National New Drug Review Committee of China FDA. He has long been engaged in teaching and scientific research of Chinese medicine pharmacy, Chinese medicine industrial preparation, biological pharmacy and other courses. He has successively presided over the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) project "Research on the dissolution characteristics of components of Buyang Huanwu Decoction by solubility parameter method", the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine project "Research on Wuzi Yanzong Granules Pharmaceutics", the Provincial Science and Technology Committee project "Research on Grub Pharmaceutics", "Research on Ganlu Xiaodu Dan Granules Pharmaceutics", and the Provincial Department of Education project, "Research on the Pharmacokinetics of the First and Second Order Statistical Moments of Ganlu Disinfection Granules". He has won a number of provincial scientific research achievement awards. He is the chief editor of “Chinese-English Dictionary of Traditional Chinese Materia Medica”, an associate editor of “The Design of Chinese Pharmaceutical Preparations”, an associate editor of several textbooks such as “Pharmaceutics of Traditional Chinese Medicine” for national colleges and universities of traditional Chinese medicine.

Evaluation expert of the Outstanding Youth program of National Natural Science Foundation of China. Drug price review expert of National Development and Reform Commission(NDRC). Vice chairman of the Professional Committee of Pharmacy of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies. Member of the Professional Committee of Pharmacy of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association. Member of the Professional Committee of Pharmacy of Zhejiang Province. Editorial board member of Chinese Journal of Pharmaceutics. Corresponding editor of Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica. Editorial board member of Chinese Journal of Pharmaceuticals. Editorial board member of Chinese Journal of Modern Applied Pharmacy. For a long time, he has been mainly engaged in the research of new drug dosage forms and new technologies. Presided over 6 projects from National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 project from 973 sub-project, 7 projects (including 1 major special project) from Provincial Department of Science and Technology. Have finished more than 20 new drug development projects.

Cheng Xuemei

Formerly served as the Director of the Management Office and Quality Director of the Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Standardization Research Center. Over 20 years’ experience in research on quality standards for traditional Chinese medicine. Participated in the research on "Systematic Research on Chinese Hemp" and won the third prize in scientific and technological achievements from the Ministry of Health. In 2009, won the first prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government. Has been granted 6 patents. Participated in several projects of National Natural Science Foundation, the National Tenth Five-year Plan, “Significant New Drugs Development” of Ministry of Science and Technology, Key Basic Research Projects of Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality, and National Key Research and Development Program of China. Has published more than 50 papers, 20 of which was Published in SCI.

M.D. Researcher of Institute of Chinese Materia Medica China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. Presided over 1 sub-project in the Chinese medicine industry, and 2 sub-projects of National Administration of Traditional Medicine. Participated as a member of the editorial board in the compilation of the treatise "Encyclopedia of Chinese Medicine" in the section of processing. Published more than 20 papers. His main research interests are TCM processing and TCM quality evaluation. He combines the processing of TCM with the TCM chemistry theory to do the TCM processing theory study, optimize the processing conditions, the TCM decoction pieces quality standard study and pharmacodynamics study, hence make sure the safety, effectiveness, stability and reliability of TCM, TCM decoction pieces and TCM preparations.

Director of Chinese Society of Particuology (CSP)/ member of the Bioparticle Society. Member of Professional Committee of Pharmacy of Shanghai Pharmaceutical Association/ member of Pharmaceutical engineering Professional Committee. Member of the standing committee of the Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine branch and the Traditional Chinese Medicine Preparation Branch of China Association of Chinese Medicine. Executive director of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Pharmaceutics of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies. His main research interests are drug carrier delivery system, the in vivo fate of drug carrier delivery system, oral drug delivery system, new drug dosage form and new technologies. He has more than 200 SCI paper published.

Focus on pharmacokinetics and in vivo processes of traditional Chinese medicine, research on new preparations of Traditional Chinese Medicine and quality control. Undertook more than 30 R&D programs such as sub-project of National Key Research and Development Plan for Traditional Chinese Medicine, the “Significant New Drugs Development” project of Ministry of Science and Technology during the twelfth Five-year Plan Period, National Natural Science Foundation of China - Xinjiang United Fund (key project), general project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shanghai Special Project on Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission Key Basic Innovation Program.
