On the morning of November 30, 2023 Hunan Biomedicine and Health Industry Expo, Xiangjiang Health Industry Development Conference and Hunan Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance and Innovation Development Summit Forum (hereinafter referred to as the "Conference") opened in Changsha. Domestic top experts and scholars, representatives of enterprises and medical institutions gathered at Meixi Lake to explore industry trends and make a new chapter of development.
The opening ceremony of this conference was addressed by He Zhaohui, Director of Management Committee of Hunan Xiangjiang New District (Changsha Hi-Tech Zone), Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee, and Deputy Secretary of Yuelu District Committee and Mayor of Yuelu District. On the scene, Fan Daiming, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, made a keynote report on "Integration and Steering of Pharmaceutical Development", Yin Yulong, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, made a keynote report on "The Application of Large-scale Experimental Animal Models in Biomedicine", and Chen Xiang, executive vice-president of Central South University and dean of Xiangya School of Medicine, made a keynote sharing titled "Scientific and Technological Innovations in Dermatology Based on Big Data". At the opening ceremony of the conference, the National Children's Medical Center (Shanghai) Children's Innovative Drug Research Institute, which was jointly built by MedGence and Shanghai Children's Medical Center, was unveiled in the signing session of major industrial projects in biomedicine, and the two sides successfully signed the contract under the witness of provincial and municipal leaders and industry colleagues.
China's pharmaceutical industry is ushering in a new era of innovative drug development. As the hope of the country's future, the healthy growth of children is becoming a widely concerned focus of society. MedGence collaborates with Shanghai Children's Medical Center to jointly establish the National Children's Medical Center (Shanghai) Children's Innovative Drug Research Institute. It will fully combine the advantages of MedGence's new drug research and development technology with the disciplinary advantages of Shanghai Children's Medical Center, develop safe, effective, and convenient drugs suitable for children's physiological characteristics, and jointly contribute to safeguarding children's health.
